How to install thunderbird with RPMs on CentOS 7.x

1. Download a rpm file for thunderbird on internet accessible PC.
yum install http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/7/x86_64/e/epel-release-7-2.noarch.rpm
yumdownloader thunderbird

2. Install thunderbird.
sudo rpm -ivh thunderbird-24.7.0-1.el7.x86_64.rpm

3. You may meet an error message like this:
error: Failed dependencies:
nspr >= 4.10.6 is needed by thunderbird-24.7.0-1.el7.x86_64

4. Download a rpm file for nspr on internet accessible PC.
yumdownloader nspr

5. Install nspr.
sudo rpm -ivh nspr-4.10.6-1.el7_0.x86_64.rpm

6. You may meet an error message like this:
file /usr/lib64/libnspr4.so from install of nspr-4.10.6-1.el7_0.x86_64 conflicts with file from package nspr-4.10.2-4.el7.x86_64
file /usr/lib64/libplc4.so from install of nspr-4.10.6-1.el7_0.x86_64 conflicts with file from package nspr-4.10.2-4.el7.x86_64
file /usr/lib64/libplds4.so from install of nspr-4.10.6-1.el7_0.x86_64 conflicts with file from package nspr-4.10.2-4.el7.x86_64

7. Update nspr rather than installation.
sudo rpm -Uvh nspr-4.10.6-1.el7_0.x86_64.rpm

8. Try again to install thunderbird.
sudo rpm -ivh thunderbird-24.7.0-1.el7.x86_64.rpm
